Halfhere only saves on your device what is needed to make the app work: your login session, a few preferences, and the offline cache. There are no profiling cookies, we do not use analytics, and we do not share data with advertising networks. For this reason no prior consent banner is required: necessary technical tools are exempt under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Garante's cookie guidelines.

Login session token: keeps you signed in without re-entering your password every time you open the app.
Duration: Until logout or token expiry (automatically renewed while in use).
halfhere-offline
IndexedDB · First party
Local archive (IndexedDB) with the offline cache of already-viewed data and the queue of changes not yet sent. Notes and files are stored encrypted; encryption keys are never saved.
Duration: Up to 14 days for the cache; queued changes remain until sent. Cleared on logout, when switching users and when deleting the account.

Duration: Persistent, until manually cleared or the tutorial is replayed.

How to delete them
You can remove everything at any time from your browser settings (clearing cookies and site data), or by signing out of your account: logging out clears the session and offline cache. Deleting this data does not delete your account.
If something changes
If we introduce measurement or analytics tools in the future, we will ask for your prior consent with a dedicated banner before activating them, and this page will be updated.
